The Environment Agency held a public meeting on Saturday 23rd April 2022 to discuss the bank raising works.

The event was held to explain more about:

• the temporary closure of the Welney Wash Road in July & August and why
• this is happening
• how the work will protect Welney village from flood risk
• how the Ouse Washes flood storage reservoir works
• the Ouse Washes Section 10 bank raising project
