We were saddened to hear of the death of Michael Brooks, who was a great support to CPRE Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. For many years Michael led a series of planning workshops for our parish councilors, and latterly we greatly valued his clear and incisive leadership of the Ox-Cam Arc working group. Michael was also a long-term volunteer and supporter of the East of England Regional Group. Michael was instrumental in founding CPRE Bedfordshire in 1987 and was their first Chairman, holding the post for eight years.
