Food for the Planet Festival, Saturday, 21st October 21 – Sunday 29th October, Cambridge

This week-long festival, with a theme of "Climate Action On A Plate”, aims to inspire and encourage people to take positive action towards a climate diet, whether this is through reducing food waste, growing fruit and veg or reducing meat and dairy consumption. Reaching for the Stars (for Real) talk, Tuesday 17th October, 7pm – 9pm, Staff Mess, of HMP Whitemoor

After the talk and if it is a clear enough night there will be the opportunity to drive to Rings End Local Nature Reserve for star-gazing.  If it is not clear enough, another talk will take place at the Prison's Staff Mess. Great Ouse Valley Trust event, Water and Wildlife, Friday 13th October, 7.30pm, at Needingworth Village Hall

Chris Gerrard, Catchment and Biodiversity Officer at Anglian Water will be speaking about water and wildlife and what nature-based solutions Anglian Water are developing to help with current water issues.
