OUTSIDE OUR REGION
We were contacted on Twitter (@CPRECambs) and asked to include Lauriston Farm (https://www.lauristonfarm.co.uk/) on this list. It is a community-owned 210 acre biodynamic social farm on the Blackwater Estuary, Goldhanger, Essex - so how could we possibly omit it?
The farm is home to rare breed Shetland cattle and North Ronaldsay sheep, bee hives, laying hens, vegetables and woodland. Eighty-five percent of the farm is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and within this, there are two listed ancient monuments.
