Environment Agency update on Drought in East Anglia

The Environment Agency (EA) has shared a Briefing Note regarding the Drought in East Anglia declared on 12^th August – see the EA press release here (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/environment-agency-chairs-national-drought-group-as-parts-of-country-move-into-drought). The Briefing Note, which can be viewed here outlines the current situation, the potential impact of Drought on the environment and what the Environment Agency is doing to address these issues.
