Anne-Marie Hamilton

We’re delighted to invite you to our first in-person AGM since 2019.  Our speaker will be Anne-Marie Hamilton, whose talk “Don’t explain, don’t complain”, will be about the challenges farmers are facing.  Many of you will recognise Anne-Marie from her regular column in the Hunts Post.

A farmer’s daughter and farmer’s wife with a wide experience of livestock and arable farming, Anne-Marie and her husband, Rob, currently farm a 274 acre arable farm near St Neots in Cambridgeshire.

She was involved in agricultural training for many years. She has been involved in two national campaigns with the Health and Safety Executive to promote child safety on farms, and she was a founder member of Beds and Cambs Rural Support Group.

From 2006 – 2021 Anne-Marie was the Chairman of Huntingdonshire Children’s Charity – known locally as Dreamdrops, and since 2015 she has been the Chairman of St Nicolas Church Restoration Group, Hail Weston.

In 2018 she was awarded the MBE for services to the farming community and charity.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided and there will also be a raffle with a range of great prizes to be won!
