We’ve kept you up-to-date about the application for a solar energy farm at Haddon, Huntingdonshire (https://www.cprecambs.org.uk/cpre-news/2024/01/30/haddon-solar-farm/), to which we strongly objected.  We were pleased when an initial decision to refuse the application was made at the 18th December 2023 meeting of the Development Management Committee (DMC) and subsequently upheld at a further meeting in January 2024.  We are now delighted to report that the Appeal made by Wessex Solar Energy Ltd against Huntingdonshire District Council’s decision has been dismissed by the Inspector.   You can read the decision notice here.
