Volunteer Roles

 

We’re looking for a Chair to help lead and develop our charity

 As chair of our board of trustees you’ll have an essential role in the development of CPRE Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience in charity governance and leadership.

We’re looking for someone with established leadership, people and communication skills, and interest in/knowledge of environmental issues. Knowledge or experience of the planning system would also be helpful.  

This role is home-based and the flexible time commitment is 8 hours per week.

All activities are voluntary, although we will pay all out-of-pocket expenses with prior agreement, in line with our Volunteer Policy.

Senior Planning Volunteer, CPRE Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

If you are interested in protecting our Cambridgeshire and Peterborough countryside, then join us!  We’re looking for volunteers to help us monitor and respond to planning applications and consultations in our county.

You should have an interest in the countryside and an understanding, as a result of professional experience, of the planning system.  You will be supported and supervised by our team, induction training will be provided by National CPRE and you will have the opportunity to attend other events as appropriate. 

This role is home-based and the flexible time commitment is 2-3 hours per week.

All activities are voluntary, although we will pay all out-of-pocket expenses with prior agreement, in line with our Volunteer Policy.
